Canapés Galore

Thanks to Melissa from Merivale I was invited to join head chef Simun Dragicevich and the team to toast a rich history of culinary expertise at the One Hatted Bistro CBD. The canapés kept flowing freely and once I spotted the oysters I was in foodie heaven — I love oysters! I've never been much of a sweets person but CBD Bistro has converted me with their delicious White Chocolate Tarts which I first fell in love with at the Merivale Winter Feasts Launch Party. Their Double Chocolate Brownies were also melt in your mouth sensations and blow torching them brought out their best chocolate shine. The Ocean Trout and Cucumber Tartare were yummy as well which I enjoyed more on the flat crisp bread so you could fully appreciate the ocean trout taste. I'll have to remember to try and make St Agur and Fig on Lavosh canapés for my next cocktail party which should be easy enough to create.

Other friendly bloggers who came along were Citrus and Candy, EatShowandTell, Grab Your Fork, Chocolatesuze, The Heart of Food and Here Comes The Food. Make sure you check out their blogs for more wonderful photos of the event.
