More space for Mo
This site has previously had a bad run of unsuccessful cafes and restaurants but if anyone can make it work I'm sure Mo can with their strong local following and high rating on Tripadvisor — currently sitting at #15 out of 5045 restaurants in Sydney. Being their first week they're still sorting out final renovation touches but so far it's looking good. I especially like the retro comfy seating around their bar area which is perhaps bordering on looking a bit like a furniture shop when empty. But once it's filled with locals I'm sure it'll become a great watering hole. The lunch menu is still being finalised but they had a BLT Sandwich ($12.90) available with nice soft turkish bread, tasty filling and a side salad which probably could benefit from a more interesting and liberal dressing. Service was friendly and helpful at the time and I noticed their $4 coffee uses Locale Espresso.
