The French Grounds of Parterre
This would have to be my new favourite secret garden cafe. So much photo inspiration in this courtyard wherever you look. Cappuccino ($3.50) using Allpress Espresso coffee is nice. Babyccino ($1) could be improved as its served in a glass with all milk and the potential for a messy finish is high if spilt when sitting at the table with the holes. The Palmier ($5) is very yummy although small and a little pricey I guess for the size. Mixed berry scone ($7) is good too and they get them from the highly popular Organic Bread Bar. Pain au Chocolat ($6) is certainly one of the more expensive ones I've had around town but it's also one of the better ones with lovely buttery flaky pastry and a decent amount of chocolate inside. Get it warmed up for the win.
