A good quick shot of coffee

I love how there's always somewhere knew to try for a coffee in the CBD. I've passed this place so many times but it's never been on my coffee radar until I spotted it through the Hey You app. My Cappuccino ($3.40) sneaks under the usual $3.50 pricing mark so that's already a positive. Nice strength and flavour and gotta love when you get a biscuit on the side as well which are the same ones you'll find at Hole In The Wall Sandwich Factory. Service was very friendly and they use Riverina Fresh Milk which has got to be another positive. There's limited seating so more set up for takeaways. I'd definitely try again.

Coffee is the primary focus

Barista Daniel Kim, ex-Heritage Coffee Brewers in Summer Hills and ex-Brewtown Newtown, sure knows a thing or two about producing a great coffee. It's all about the coffee life when you walk into this cafe with limited table space on Ikea FROSTA stools for your coffee. You'll also be able to just fit a limited pastry range including a Housemade chocolate chip cookie ($3.50) which I definitely recommend. My Cappuccino ($3.50) uses their Seasonal Blend with interesting flavours of apparently Snickers and Choc milkshake that uses 50% Guatemala El Morito and 50% Ethiopia Hunda Oli. I think the window seating at the front is the best spot for some natural light and to watch the barista in action but there's extra seating at the back as well. Good luck in finding parking in the area but the venture is worth it. Thanks @boybabsky for the cafe suggestion.

Banh mi game is strong

Great find for a banh mi fix. Excellent baguettes with tasty quality fillings. Service is efficient and friendly. 'The Classic' banh mi ($8.50) includes steamed pork belly, Vietnamese ham & pate, onion, cucumber, pickled carrot and daikon, shallots, coriander, mayo, soy sauce and house special sauce. Nice crunchy baguette and a decent size wrapped up like a kebab. The lemongrass beef banh mi is very good which I've tried on a revisit. The popular Roast Piggy I still need to try and it keeps running out before I arrive. Cappuccino ($3.30) using Di Stefano coffee was surprisingly good for a reasonable price. There's a bit of seating available at this hidden gem which is located opposite the highly popular Big Bite on Pitt best known for their gigantic sandwiches
