Same menu, same prices

Best news of the week is finding out Malay Chinese have opened a 2nd shop near King St Wharf. I was thinking it might be more expensive but thankfully it's the same reasonably priced menu with nicer cushion comfy seating and no crazy lunch queues but I'm sure that will change real fast once the word is out amongst the big corporate offices in the area. My Chicken and King Prawn Laksa ($15) has the same familiar recipe to hit the comfort food spot on a cold day. Service was friendly and I spy a bit of upstairs seating once it gets more busy. If you're using the mens toilet just be sure to lock the door behind you as it opens out to the corridor behind you. The Hunter St shop is legendary so I'm sure this one will be just as popular. Currently open for the weekday lunch crowd but my hope is they'll extend to an early dinner service too like their other restaurant. Another bonus to find out is they also take card while the Hunter St location does cash only.
