New taste reaches Waverley
This cafe might be Taste Baguette's 15th location which has yet to make it on their website location listing. I've been a fan of Taste Baguette ever since they opened many years ago on Foveaux St in Surry Hills and was very happy when they opened in the CBD at
Taste on Sussex Lane around 9 years ago. This store is now dangerously closer than the Woollahra Taste Providore. Freshly baked pastries are a great temptation in the window. The Cherry Danish ($4.80) and Pain aux Raisins 'Escargot' ($4.80) are good as expected. I spy Campos coffee on the machine and a nice quiet seating area out the back. I'm sure Waverley locals will be very happy to have this addition to their cafe options.

Good morning coffee run
Loving the ultra friendly and welcoming service along with easy listening background music of 'One More Night' by Phil Collins and 'Broken Wings' by Mr. Mister as I enjoy my Cappuccino ($3.50) using Single Origin Roasters Paradox coffee while Miss 4 and Miss 1 year old enjoy their Babyccino ($1) thankfully served in a paper cup.
Ham and Cheese Croissant ($6.50) was nice with an excellent croissant from Penny Fours. Nice ham and cheese although would have loved the cheese to be more melted. Rhubarb Danish ($5) also by Penny Fours hits the spot for a sugar hit washed down with my good coffee. Nice fit out with some solo seating around the wall and window plus a communal table in the middle.
Thanks Julian Flax @flaxy for the coffee tip

New French bakery in Bondi
This new French bakery is a welcomed addition to Bondi that's located where La Maison de L'éclair used to be. There's plenty of tempting pastries and cakes on display to keep the locals happy plus breads, croissants and coffee using Mutch & Moore which I haven't seen before. Some limited seating inside and out and the staff were friendly and keen to please.
My Cherry Danish ($4.50) was glistening with cherries and had a nice pastry. The Paris Brest ($6.95) filled with lots of cream. The Tarte au Citron ($6.50) which tempted me on their instagram was very nice. The Strawberry Tarte ($6.95) topped with a good amount of fresh strawberries was very yummy. There was a bit of a wait for my take away Cappuccino ($3.50) with a barista under pressure but hopefully will be able to turnaround coffees quicker in the future. The flavour and smoothness was quite nice and enjoyable.
