Twist Potato: Chips on a Stick, Belmore Park (14 Feb 2010)

Belmore Park, across Eddy Avenue from Central Station

Very cool and twisted idea

After my family Chinese New Year lunch at Golden Century I wandered around the wet grass area of Belmore Park to check out the markets and listen to the free stage performances of Chinese opera. I came across this cool looking food stall which sold Twist Potato advertised as 'Chips on a Stick'. I was too full to try one but if anyone else has had one please let me know if they're worth getting. Looks pretty tasty and such a simple idea. I did a Google search and found Twist Potato which shows the machine they've probably used and the idea seems to have possibly originated in South Korea where it's a popular street snack.

Twist Potato $2.50 (small)
