Great space for a cafe
I remember the days when this location used to be a pyramid glasshouse. Now it's a lovely tranquil space with seating outside a ticketed exhibition space. Basic coffee, pastries and sandwiches are on offer. I wish my Cappuccino ($4) was better at this price. They're using Double Roasters coffee. Was quite a strong dark roasted flavour although not particularly well made. The froth was flavourless and the underlying hot coffee a bit harsh and one dimensional in flavour on the palate. The disposal wooden spoon didn't help to add any value to the dine in experience. I didn't enjoy the coffee at all. Great space though and outlook to the gardens. I also noticed a bit of water condensation on the glass tops displaying the pastries for some reason which doesn't particularly look good. Hopefully things will improve over time here in the coffee standard.
