Cake life in Petersham
The legendary Portuguese Tarts are all sold out on this sugar hit visit but enjoyed my strong flavoured Cappuccino ($3.50) using Seven Miles 'Firenze' coffee, Custard Doughnut ($4.50) and Salted Caramel Tart ($6). Seating can be crowded and noisy when busy and there's plenty of temptations but best to arrive early for the full selection including those tarts. Service seemed younger and friendlier than a recall from my last visit a few years ago. Parking in the area can be a challenge especially on weekends.
