Easter egg hunting in Adora
I've often walked past the Adora in the city but this is the first time I've visited their store in Rose Bay. Lots of tempting chocolates on display but I'm here for an easter egg for the Mrs. She prefers white chocolate and the Dinosaur Egg ($45) looks like the one to please. Such a massive sized egg that has the wow factor I was looking for. The store is located in a nice little precinct of shops with free street parking. I must revisit the bakery I spotted across the road called La Bretagne — looked promising.

Chocolate and coffee fix
Hard to go past this place and not be tempted by all the handmade chocolates on display. All coffees come with your choice of a handmade chocolates and I'm sure they factor this in with the pricing as well. Affogato ($6.50) using ‘Adora's very own gelato made with fresh milk and vanilla beans ’ has a good amount of gelato and the coffee is strong. I chose the Ginger Truffle as my chocolate side which was very nice. I'm assuming the coffee is from The Coffee Roaster which is on the sugar packets. Service friendly and there's a few tables around for dining in. There's also some very yummy looking cakes on display which I'll have to try some other time.
