Coffee stop in Drummoyne

Just a quick coffee takeaway visit on this occasion. Cappuccino ($3.80) using Campos Coffee was pretty good served very hot. Friendly service and nice air con seating inside which becomes a refreshing oasis on a very hot day.

Afternoon pick me up

One of the many cafes in the area for a coffee and cake fix. Cappuccino ($3.50) using Campos Coffee was quite good and the Strawberry & Pistachio Mousse ($7.30) is apparently housemade like many of their other cakes on display. Was quite nice although the strawberry on top looked a little tired and I generally prefer when served without the green stem still attached. Decor and surrounds pleasant and free street parking in the area. Service OK but there's room to be more welcoming and friendly.

Campos lovers cafe

Previously Knight's Coffee & Tea they've renamed themselves as Esquire Espresso. Still using Campos Coffee and doing it well. Cappuccino ($3.80) was enjoyable and barista is friendly and takes the time to welcome new and regular customers. There's limited seating but most regulars seem happy for their takeaway coffee run.

Pumping out the Campos Coffee

This little coffee shop is very popular in the mornings pumping out the ubiquitous Campos Coffee and seem to be doing a fine job at it. I enjoyed my Cappuccino with raisin toast ($6.20 breakfast special) with a good hit of the caramel and chocolate flavours. Decent thick raisin toast that's well buttered is one of my guilty pleasures. Some seating around which is handy when waiting for your coffee. It's a limited food menu but covers some of the usual quick and easy ready made takeaway options. Their Iced Donuts for $2.70 look very tempting for my next coffee hit here.

Campos Coffee on the bus line 

Still clearly in its infancy with the main building under a fit out renovation this small stand alone cafe is well located next to a main bus stop. Although I think they'll need to improve their turnaround time for a coffee to be under 2-3 minutes to attract time poor commuters looking out for their bus to the city. My Cappuccino ($3.50) using Campos Coffee is made quite well with a strong hit of that signature Campos flavour to start which mellows to a more pleasurable finish for me. Taking around 5 minutes seemed a bit long a wait and the Mrs latte taking around 9 minutes was like a lifetime in coffee years. Babyccino ($1) comes in a ceramic cup and mostly milk which isn't the safest in the hands of a toddler but the plump pink marshmallow is the first to go with a big smile from Miss 2 year old. Housemade Pecan Brownie ($3.50) is smallish but yummy and goes down well with the coffee. There's limited seating in the process of being expanded amongst the garden setting which seems a bit makeshift under a temporary marquee in case it rains. Service was super friendly and I sense are still getting used to the space and working out their systems. If I had more time I would have loved to hit their housemade scones.
