Sabbaba: Falafel, Bondi (18 Oct 2008)

82 Hall Street, Bondi NSW 2026

A noteworthy spot for freshly cooked bite-sized falafel balls if you can muster the patience and courage to find a parking spot in the very busy and touristy Bondi area. The falafel here is very similiar to the ones you get at http://www.yummba.com.au in Westfields Bondi Junction including the salad. Another falafel spot just down the road is Zinzana at 141 Glenayr Ave Bondi which is good also. My preference is still Jasmin in Punchbowl.

Falafel plate small: Falafel balls, Hummus, Tahini, Chickpeas, Garden Salad, Tabouli, Red Cabbage and Pickles served with Fresh Baked Pita $11.50. I think the large plate serving includes Babaganoush and Salsa and is $16.

Sabbaba is without a doubt the best. was there tonight and several times a week. great healthy food and very tasty. not a big fan of jasmin as they are not too vegie concious and seem to find bits of meat in my salad. yummba falafel way too salty and not that fresh. zinzanna, i don't dare to even walk there anymore, dirty and disgusting

hi chad, sounds like you like your falafel. Can recommend any other places for a good falafel?
