Chocolates, Pastries & Ice Cream
If you're a keen cyclist and love your sweets then don't miss the annual MASSBUG (Marrickville and South Sydney Bicycle Group) Chocolate Ride which discovers the hidden gems of the Marrickville Council area. They visit a gelato factory, chocolatier, a fabulous greek patisserie wholesaler and the largest confectionary store in Australia. Just in time to stock up for Easter. It's an easy ride, a bit of traffic, lots of stops to eat ice cream, buy cakes, small goods and chocolate. If this sounds like your cup of tea then join in.
I'm not exactly sure where they'll be going this year but in the past they have included places like:
• TIM Products
• Casa Del Gelato
• Campos Coffee
• Serendipity Ice-Cream
• Fleur De Lys Patisserie
• Pastabilities
• Adora Handmade Chocolates
• Abla Pastries
• Georgiou's Confectionery

Enjoy the ride!! Sounds like my find of events, nice outdoor fun mixed with foodie fun! And Marrickville has so many lovely spots for food...
This sounds like a great event,
and a good way to burn off all that food :P
I would if I 1. Had a bike and 2. knew how to ride one! No bother, if you happen to get a hold of the list of places they visit I can make my own walking trip seeing as it's my neighbourhood =)
Sounds like fun! Looking forward to your post about how it went
Aww... sounds like a great idea! I won't have anyone to go with unfortunalty.. :(
hi myriam, i'm not an early riser but i'm going to make an effort for this one. i still need to try and borrow a bike though.
hi kristy, ride and eat. best way not to feel too guilty.
hi angie, can't believe you don't know how to ride a bike. but then again you could just run along side :-) i think it would make a great walking trip though.
hi brenda, hoping to go if i can drag myself out of bed to get there. i really want to visit all these great foodie places.
hi Phuoc'n Delicious, you'll meet lots of friendly cyclist if you go to keep you company. i think they sometimes get about 20-30 people going. i guess it depends on the weather too.
