Small batch coffee roasters
This tiny espresso shop can easily be overlooked when driving past King Street. The coffee and tea menu is more extensive than the limited eats menu of jaffles and croissants. Barista was friendly and serendipitously running into specialist coffee hunter James Fridley of @bitterbliss was an educational delight. My Cappuccino ($3.50) using Graceland blend was very nice and loved the coffee art too. Complimentary SodaStream sparkling water is available when sitting in at one of the 5 stools available. It's great to finally discover this place exists for a coffee fix.

Coffee on the train run
I have to thank Cathy @cclperkins for this hidden gem coffee tip which I probably never would have discovered. The friendly barista Eddy is always up for a quick or long chat if you have the time before catching your train. He's using a custom blend of 100% Arabica from Brazil, Columbia and Costa Rica giving it a full bodied experience that doesn't hold back. Cappuccino ($3) is reasonably priced with a good strength of flavour. Combined with a naughty Pineapple iced donut ($2.50) that provides a wicked sugar hit and old school memories. There's simple sandwiches and cakes on display kept at reasonable prices on purpose. Once they run out they're gone for the day. These guys are up at the crack of dawn for the first trains in and often start working on their regulars coffee orders when they spot them coming through the gates in need of their coffee fix.

Welcome to the neighbourhood
Thanks to @m_cookie_cookson from Welcome Dose for the coffee tip in recommending this place. Pretty much a hole in the wall but run by a friendly dynamic duo. The design of the shop is pretty schmick. Cappuccino ($3.80) a bit pricer than the norm for a small but very well made and great flavour to kick start the day. A tempting looking plain Croissant ($5) by Penny Fours becomes a must for me and goes down well for some extra morning carbs. There's very limited seating outside so these guys are all about the take away coffee fix or just linger and have a friendly chat with the locals swarming to this place.
