One of everything please!

If I lived any closer to this bakery I suspect it would be very dangerous for my waistline. So many freshly baked temptations on display in this small shop front space with its larger kitchen space behind pumping out the baked goodies. I'm suspecting one simply does not buy one thing when visiting this inner west boulangerie/patisserie. Croissant ($4) was nice with a good texture. I tend to prefer the ones that are a bit more softer and buttery though these days. Portuguese tart ($2.90) was nice with the flavour more on the eggy side. Keiran's Lamington ($6.90) is the one to watch out for. So moist and yummy richly flavoured with chocolate soaked through. One of the better lamingtons I've had in Sydney. Vanilla Slice ($5.90) had excellent pastry and a nice filling although you won't find that top layer of icing for the extra sugar hit. Chocolate eclair ($6.90) is generously filled in a good eclair casing and sure to be a crowd pleaser. Staff were friendly even when tending to bedazzled customers spoilt for choice. Looking like a great addition to the bakery scene in Sydney which I'm sure will please the locals and draw its fans from afar. Definitely more than just the short supply of 72 hour sourdough which sells out way too fast. Next visit I have my eye on the citrus poppy cake, carrot cake, danish and savoury epi plus also keen to try a sausage roll and meat pie. Bring it on!

French eclairs in Potts Point

Nice friendly service by the French owner when ordering at the counter with lots of tempting eclairs on display. I chose the Passionfruit Eclair ($6.50) with nice flavour and texture that was thankfully not too dry. Cappuccino ($3.50) using Morgans Coffee Roasters quite nice. Babyccino ($free) is free and at least half froth achieved although had a little spillage accident with Miss 2 year old so demonstrates why I always prefer if it's all froth. Mini Croissant ($2) baked in house was good as a dipper for the coffee. Hard to find parking in the area but seemed to be a popular spot for the locals to get an eclair fix.
