Simon's Food Highlights 2008

Wishing all my readers a very delicious and satisfying Festive Foodie New Year. Here are some of my food highlights from 2008 and I hope to find many more in 2009 to inspire me and satisfy my tastebuds.

Sang Tung chicken - Kingsford Chinese Restaurant, Kingsford, Sydney

Zi-Zhuan dry wonton with cucumber and chilli oil - Shanghai Night Restaurant, Ashfield, Sydney

Combination laksa - Little Singapore Restaurant, Sunnybank, QLD

Salt & pepper barramundi with sweet soy & lemon - Longrain, Surry Hills, Sydney

Pear créme caramel, Sauternes jelly, pear icecream, caramel cream - Quay, The Rocks, Sydney

Duck rice paper rolls with leek, carrot and vietnamese mint - Family lunch 2008, Chef Leong, Sydney
