Artisan Gelato Fix in Enmore
Gelato life is alive and kicking on a balmy night here in Enmore. I left the choices up to the kids. Chocolate Gelato ($6) for Miss 3 year old and Lemon Sorbet ($6) for Miss 6 year old. Happy kids — happy parents. A decent sized scoop for the single serving. No smaller kids sizes available. Service was friendly. Some seating available but can be a challenge to find when busy.

Artisan Gelato Life
I've visited this gelateria a few times now and the service has always been so friendly and down-to-earth. You can get an affogato with your choice of any of the gelato although their recommended flavour is the pannacotta. I try the Donatello ($4.50) this time around which is like a hazelnut and chocolate mix. My brother tries the feature flavour Persimmon ($4.50) which is equally as enjoyable. Love the retro decor and free street parking in the area. Whenever in the area it's hard not to drop in for a gelato fix.

Sugar hit central
A gelato tip by Deb Carr brings me to check out this kingdom of all things sugary. Their menu is designed for a maximum sugar hit although I keep it simple and just stick to the gelato. For the kids Miss 5 year old goes for her usual Lemon Sorbet ($2.50 kids cone) and Miss 2 year old is happy with her Mint Chocolate ($2.50 kids cone). The staff were kind enough to provide them with a cup to save their gelato from falling off the cones. I chose the decadent looking Caramel Macadamia ($4.80 single serve) which was very yummy and smooth with an abundance of macadamia pieces throughout. There's some seating inside and more to be had outside plus a toilet available. I believe this place is related to Cloud 9 but seem to have rebrand and shortened their name to C9.

Small batch artisan gelato
One of my favourite places for gelato in Sydney. Not only are the flavours great but the serving size is very decent compared to other well known places. On this particular visit it was Coffee Gelato ($5) for @plus1guest, Honeycomb Gelato ($5) for myself, Chocolate Gelato ($5) for Miss 5 and 2 year old to share and Buttermilk & Passionfruit Gelato ($5) for the Mrs. A moment of happiness for all. I love how retro and simple this place is. Quality product, friendly service and pretty much gelato heaven right here.
