A cafe to reenergise yourself

“Welcome to The Profitéia Café. Take a deep breath. Relax. Let your worries fall away. Whatever challenge life is currently throwing at you, know this: we believe in you. Yes, you. The beautiful soul hovering there, reading these words. It can be hard, this game of life, but we have faith in you. So show yourself some love. Take a moment to reenergise. Enjoy a soothing hot drink. Share a wholesome meal with loved ones. Nourish your body and soul with fresh, healthy food. And remember this: you’re doing great.”

These friendly guys have been opened for about 3 weeks located on a corner position that looks tiny from the outside but there's plenty of extra seating downstairs. My Cappuccino ($3.50) uses Caffe Migliore Ripe Harvest coffee with a good strength of flavour coming through. The Babyccino ($2) comes with a marshmallow and is mostly froth as preferred but served in a glass which is a bit risky for the little ones and would be better served in a paper cup. The menu has a bit of variety from scrambled eggs, muesli, Greek salad, spanakorizo, lamb souvlaki, mezze, fried chicken burger and 'a big bowl-o chips' with a mix of potato and sweet potato fries seasoned with oregano. Nice simple decor and love the addition of green plants and succulents as part of the table setting.
