With the $50/pp (Mix) banquet you get to choose any 6 entrées and 4 mains including steamed rice which seemed to be a good way the dishes could be evenly divided up. The dumplings were tasty and quite large and the salt and pepper soft shell crab was another one of my favourites on the night.
Prawn Dumplings with Water Chestnuts, Shallots & Chinese Celery $12
Salt & Pepper Soft Shell Crab $14
Prawns with Dry Chilli & Shallot in Gongbao Sauce (spicy) $30
Beef and vegetables in Taiwanese BBQ Sauce $20

How would you rate this place over all? I wanted to come here for my Dad's Bday but they were closed.
I haven't really found a good Taiwanese place in Sydney yet but I guess there are that many either.
hi FFichiban
i haven't really had much taiwanese food before (if at all?) so not sure what a good one would be or if this place was authentic even though they promote themselves as authentic. the atmosphere and setting was nice. popular place for a wed, so preferably book. service was friendly, although were a little forgetful about our table water we ordered with meal. ingredients were fresh and good quality. most dishes tasty and didn't feel as heavy as the usual chinese food. i'd probably try again to try other dishes which is I guess a good review for me. hope this helps.
Simon :-)
I'm with FFichiban, am still searching for a good taiwanese place. Will give this place a try:)
Wow! it lookes so good Taiwanese food. I am so used to have good Chinese food in San Francisco and i got picky for it. A dim sum restaurant in Sydeny near Victoria area taken by Hong Kong Aussie friend and it was good. i will surely try this place during my next sydney visit next year. thank you for good info.
