Family coffee time
The barista seems to be doing a decent job with The Little Marionette coffee here. Latte ($3.30) was liked by the Mrs. The Babyccino ($1) served as mostly milk is a little scary in the hands of Miss 2 year old in case of spillage. My Cappuccino is quite nice with Ham & Cheese Croissant ($7.50). I wasn't expecting there to be any tomato as it wasn't mentioned on the menu and Miss 2 year old isn't keen on tomato at the moment. Would have loved the croissant to have a bit more of the crispy finish from the toasting. Service was friendly and there's plenty of seating upstairs.

Busy little friendly cafe
A busy crowd outside this small humble cafe attracts me to check it out for the first time. As I sip on my Cappuccino using Aroma coffee with my Bacon and Egg Roll ($8.50 dine in) I notice a constant stream of regulars coming in for their coffee fix. The down-to-earth and friendly service seem to know many of their names as well. The coffee has a medium body tasting flavour which remains quite consistent in strength to the end of the cup. Bacon and egg roll is OK and a simple eat. Not getting a lot of flavour from the egg and bacon which seems to compete with the slightly dense flattened roll which has been toasted. Prices on the menu seem to be quite reasonable and the seating outside suits a nice weathered day for people watching.

In need of a quick afternoon coffee fix I noticed the sign for a $2.50 happy hour coffee. Cappuccino ($2.50 happy hour 2-4pm) used Di Lorenzo coffee which had a rich flavoured start although tapered off to a lighter milky finish from midway to the last drop. Service was friendly and energetic. Not much seating so more a takeaway or standing spot.
