Quiet spot in The Spot
I was intending to dine at Pinocchio's Restaurant but it was so full and the noise factor was like sitting in a chicken coop with a thousand voices crying out to be heard — unfortunately acoustics are quite bad but food is good. It was very unsettling so I decided to head to Seahorse which I knew was going to be more relaxing and I needed a place to chill out from the busy work week. The salad was nice and the cheese and garlic bread was filling. The Wholemeal Linguine with prawns, calamari and broccoli had a bit of a chilli kick too it. The Penne with Balmain Bugs was OK but it was hard to sometimes find the balmain bug through all the sauce.
SNAPSHOT REVIEW:
PROS: Relatively quiet, homemade pasta
CONS: Find the balmain bug in the sauce, Parking limited
TRY: Linguine Seahorse with Prawns, Atlantic salmon and scallops, Gelato

I work in Kensington and have never really explored the food places around the area, including Randwick. I hear there are some great places at The Spot.
hi ladybird, there seems to be a pretty popular patisserie in The Spot i'm hoping to try one day. if you like indonesian you might like the cheap and cheerful Java in Randwick :-)
