Is yumness actually a real word? Anyway I bought these little delights for the first time to have as a snack on my Spit Bridge to Manly walk (which was also my first time). What better way to enjoy Sea Salt flavour than by the sea. The Manly Scenic Walkway is such a lovely walk and when I got to about the half way point the views looking towards the North and South Head were fantastic. Be sure to check out the 500m side track down towards the lighthouse — it's well worth it. You really have to pick a nice day for this walk and be sure to take some water and a few snacks or even a light packed lunch and find a nice spot with a view. Depending on your speed and rest stops it can take about 3 or so hours at a nice pace. If you’re driving to the Spit Bridge to start your walk you'll find free parking available on Parriwi Road a bit up the hill. I caught the bus back from Manly to Spit Bridge to get back to the car.
I now want to find and try all the Piranha eight flavours:
• Sea Salt
• Saucy BBQ
• Sour Cream & Sweet Chilli
• Tomato, Herbs & Cheddar
• Creamy Mild Mushroom
• Roast Chicken Herb Seasoning
• Balsalmic Vinegar and Sea Salt
• BBQ & Cream Cheese

It looks like you had a lovely walk :)
These chips sound yum!
These remind me of Lattice chips! Hang on, or am I just imagining them...??
I love the Manly to Spit Bridge walk and have done it three times already, in summer when you can jump into the harbour at one of the sandy beaches. Nice chips as well!
I do this walk often, it has a perfectly varying terrain!
Great scenic shots on your walk Simon. I should do the walk for some shots for my blog. The Creamy Mushroom flavoured chips sound yummy.
Sydney - City and Suburbs
Those chips look good! Where did you buy them from? I can't give up my vice of potato chips so it's good to know a "healthier" brand. I've tried those low fat ones and they really taste like cardboard/paper!
hi kristy, it is such a nice walk but be sure be pick a nice day and i'm sure it could get a bit slippery and wet in some parts.
hi mademoiselle délicieuse, Lattice Chips? sounds like they might but i don't think i've come across lattice chips before. were they a healthy option as well?
hi john, wow 3 times. that's great. during summer would be great to have a swim as well although sometimes the water is actually warmer during autumn/early winter.
hi maria, it does have quite a good variation of slopes and paths to make it both interesting and challenging as a walk doesn't it.
hi j bar, you definitely should. i'm sure you'll get some great photos to add to your blog capturing Sydney. i'm a huge salt and vinegar fan so i can't wait to try the Balsalmic Vinegar and Sea Salt flavour.
hi april, i bought them from Woolworths on Bourke St near St Margarets Square. i think they're supposed to be available in coles and woolies but i couldn't seem to find them in the Randwick woolies though. perhaps it's in the larger supermarkets. I think you'll like these as they definitely have all the taste and not like the cardboard versions out there which are just a waste of money because i hate eating them. i'm keen to try the other flavours to see what they're like. hopefully they're not too weird in taste like the Smiths new flavours competition was http://simonfoodfavourites.blogspot.com/2009/12/do-us-flavour-smiths-new-flavour.html
