I love all types of fresh berries and this strawberry tart has plenty of them. The firm yet fine pastry base combined with the not too sweet custard balances deliciously with every bite. I'm not sure if the gold flecks are supposed to add any taste but they do make the dessert look that little bit more special. I'm hoping they have a similar raspberry tart version which is usually my favourite combination.
